![]() January Outline: The Godhead Lesson #4 This Power Point Covers: Who am I and Who can I become? In preparation for this lesson I came across an article in the January 2014 New Era entitled "Truth, Lies & your Self Worth" Immediately I thought of this lesson and how well it went along with it. I have included this article in the Power Point. The resources for this lesson were great. Most of us have heard the very popular talk by President Uchtdorf entitled "Your Happily Ever After." I love this article. I know it has been used quite a bit in Girls Camps and Night of Excellence, New Beginnings etc. I still wanted to incorporate it while changing it enough to keep girls interested who may have already heard the message. It's such a wonderful message its worth repeating! They also had 2 great videos listed as resources. I love them both and if you prefer another video by all means use it! I had a video in mind that I wanted to use. It is called "Be Strong, I know who I am" It was from 2010 but I love it and really felt like it tied in well with the lesson. It is only available online through the NEW ERA YouTube channel. I downloaded an MP4 version and will attach it above if you'd like to use it. The handout I had in mind was to print out the image above and attach it to a cute pen or pencil tying in the "Write" your own story. I want the girl to realize they all have a book with blank pages. Based on their choices they will "Write Their Own Story." We all want them to have a "Happily Ever After." I did want to point out to my YW that "Happily Ever After" doesn't mean life will be perfect and they will ride off into the sunset with prince charming. I hope that happens for them but this life is a challenge. In order to weather life's storms we must stay close to the Gospel. That is how we achieve the happy ending. Jen *If you are unable to open the Power Point because you have a different version of the program, let me know and I can send you a converted copy you will probably be able to use.*

This is wonderful! Would you email me a converted copy? My desktop can open it, but my laptop can't and that is what I will be taking with me to church.

**Please Note: Due to different versions of power point the slides may need to be adjusted after you download them. Please go through the power point before your lesson to make sure the pictures and the text are formatted correctly! I just opened a file I made using my laptop with my iPad and the font was different, colors were different and some of the pictures were in the wrong place. It may take a little tweeking! :)**
